Small and growing businesses (SGBs) have the potential to diversify the private sector and provide employment. The Economic Development Accelerator (EDA), sponsored by USAID, helps scale high-potential export-oriented agricultural manufacturers by awarding growth funds, and providing technical assistance, access to teams of professional managers, industry connections toward strategic alliances, and access to additional financing. Apply by July 31st, 2021.

The mission’s work focuses on youth and economic development, education, health and the environment. The Economic Development Accelerator, one of the Mission’s latest projects in Guyana, will provide resources to help scale Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) in agro-processing.

Applications are open July 1 – July 30, 2021. Applicants must operate a registered business producing finished agricultural goods.
